By accessing or using Bookmarks Pal (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of Bookmarks Pal ("we", "us", or "our").
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service. By using Bookmarks Pal — whether as a guest or with a registered account — you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 16, please do not use the Service.
Bookmarks Pal is a browser bookmark management tool that helps you review, organise, and clean up your browser bookmarks. The Service is available in the following tiers:
To access features beyond the guest tier, you must register an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
You may not use another person's account, create accounts by automated means, or provide false information during registration.
Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.
Your bookmarks are yours. We do not claim ownership over the bookmark data you import into the Service. We process and store it solely to provide the Service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to import and process any data you bring into Bookmarks Pal. Do not import bookmarks containing confidential third-party information you are not authorised to process through a third-party service.

All rights, title, and interest in the Service (excluding your data) — including the software, design, branding, and documentation — belong to us or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to use our intellectual property other than to use the Service as described herein.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 8, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
